So had had a friend request that I show some step by step stitches that can be used when embroidering, so here it goes.
So I started by drawing out what I want to sew. For this it best to use a sewing marker that can be washed away after you done. I don’t have a working one right now so I’m using a pencil.

This stitch is called a Split Stitch also know as a Kensington outline stitch:
Start by threading you needle, matching the ends, tie a knot.

next pick a starting point and pull the needle and thread all the way through.

Here comes the fun part, the sewing. separate the pieces of thread; fallowing your drawing do a back stitch towards the staring point in between the two threads. (hint: your needle should stay on the top side of your fabric)

Pull your needle through and repeat all the way around your design.
